What's squared and dimensional?

Cubes.
The movie Cube is my second favorite series, mainly because it doesn't follow a story line all throughout. It simply sticks the basic ideas and in each movie, it changes them.
Cube is about... well, a cube, and a giant one at that with thousands of rooms. In each movie, there are a few characters, the number is random, and so are the people, they have simply just been dumped into this maze almost like labrats. Sometimes they wake up to see other people around them in the cube, and sometimes they wake up alone, and travel around hoping that they come across other people, which they do, but it isn't that simple. Inside this giant cube, are thousands of smaller cubes with six doors, one on the ceiling, one on the floor, and four on the walls. These rooms are all different colours, but the colours isn't the thing that matters, what matters are the traps.Throughout the cube there are many different types of traps, some are very easy to pick out, whereas others are quite impossible.
The second important thing, is that through the passageways to the next room, there are markings that mark the room number. These markings are either numbers or letters, and they hold a pattern to them that can distinguish whether the room is a trap or not.
The third important thing about the cube, is that the rooms move.

CUBE
This is the first of the trilogy and it has the best story. It's typically about six people who wake up in the cube, wondering where the hell they are, there's an extremely inteligent high school girl, a female doctor, a mentally disabled guy, an escape artist, a cop and a sketchy guy who works in an office. The journey in this movie is unbelievably thrilling, there are a lot of times when watching, that I've been totally surprised by where things lead to, and I did not see any of it coming.

CUBE: HYPERCUBE
This movie has got to be the trippiest of the trilogy, but instead of a cube, there are people thrown into a tesseract. For those of you who don't know, a tesseract is a cube, but with another dimension, and people have said that it can play with time and create illusions and such. Everything that happens inside this tesseract are out of this world strange. This movie has bonus points for the cube itself, whether than for the story.

CUBE ZERO
This is the last movie, it was released in 2004, so I'm quite sure that there won't be a fourth one. This film is focussed more on the outside of the cube. The main characters of the movie are these two men who work in this dark basement and watch over the cube and everyone in it, but one of the main characters feels he has fallen in love with one of the women inside the cube, and he checks her background out and everything and discovers that she's not supposed to be in there, so he ends up going in to the cube. It has a very interesting journey, but the bonus points is for the actions of the cube, and how it is being run by two simple guys in a basement.

I highly reccomend that anyone reading this, should watch these movies if you're up for feeling amazed.
